Biography
HOWARD GORRELL goes to the Taipei games as the coach and director of the U.S. Tennis team, a position he’s had since 1978…a Maryland resident, he looks forward to seeing how his team fares in Taiwan… the Ohio University graduate worked with former U.S. Senator Ted Stevens on the Amateur Sports Act of 1978…the 2009 games will be Gorrell’s 10th overall Deaflympics.
