Biography

LAURIE ACHIN hails from Illinois… received M.A. in Deaf Education from Gallaudet in 2008… won silver in Rome, 2001, and bronze in Melbourne, 2005, both for indoor women volleyball… has won multiple volleyball awards since high school… currently teaches at R.E.A.D.S. Collaborative Program and ASL in Massachusetts.
